Dr. Russell A Peterson: was a brilliant theologian, educator and Lutheran Minister for over 50 years. A Professor of Higher Education at the University of North Dakota. The profound love of wisdom, both divine and secular helped him accumulate a personal library of over 50,000 volumes in his personal home study. His continuous thirst of knowledge brought him to Oxford University over 25 times during his career  to continue his education as well as completing a degree in the Early Church Fathers from St Andrews University,Scotland in 1988. His sermons were interspersed with wisdom of the ages as well as colored with stories of his youth giving the listener a unique insight into his life and teachings.

He was a unique teacher in the sense that he not only preached the word of GOD but was actually one of the few teachers that lived the word of GOD. Everyone that met him was touched in their lives by him by his teachings or by his mere presence. Constantly in demand by graduate students, their association with him would last far beyond there graduate schools years and would become lifelong friends. These sermons were acquired from a few congregations that he had served over the years. He would generally serve rural congregations, usually 4 churches at a time, rotating 2 each Sunday. He was a true man of GOD and those that knew him were grateful of the experience and time that they were able to share with him. We will add more sermons as they are found.
